The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical settings, including geriatrics and post-acute care, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a blend of skills and personal care abilities to ensure that each client receives the highest level of care tailored to their individual needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and document clients' health status, reporting any changes to appropriate healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare providers. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Collaborate with family members and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred, particularly in geriatrics or post-acute care settings. Integrity and empathy are a must have. Must have Florida HHA or CNA certificate Must have automobile and auto insurance Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and families.
