Duties Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalized care plans are followed Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care settings with a focus on geriatrics or memory care Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies for adult with developmental delay. Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently to respond swiftly during emergencies Familiarity with medication administration procedures and resident rights regulations Excellent client communication skills to build trust and provide compassionate support Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in home or community care environments Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening. This position is for Sunday- 10am to 6pm and Holidays. Weekend shifts are paid at $18 an hour. Holiday shifts are paid at a higher rate.
