Job Description

Job Overview:
7a - 3p Every Other Weekend We are currently hiring for multiple Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to five (5) individuals in need, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This role will involve working with elderly individuals.
Responsibilities:
Personal Care:
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
Medication Management:
Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules. Monitor and record any changes in health or medication reactions.
Companionship:
Engage in meaningful conversations and companionship to alleviate feelings of loneliness. Plan and participate in recreational activities or outings.
Meal Preparation:
Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences. Assist with feeding if necessary.
Household Assistance:
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing. Ensure a safe and clean living environment.
Health Monitoring:
Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals. Keep accurate records of care provided.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other members of the care team. Report any concerns or observations promptly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred. Compassionate and empathetic attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs. Physical stamina and the ability to assist with lifting and transferring. Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check Able to provide a Negative TB test Able to provide a CPR card &
First Aid Working Conditions:
Caregivers will be working in an assisted living facilities. The work hours may vary, and some caregivers may be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays.
