Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In Home Caregiver to deliver personalized care to our clients in their residences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our care recipients by providing attentive, respectful, and comprehensive support. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to report accurately to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary. Administer medications following prescribed instructions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of the client's living space. Support clients with cognitive challenges such as Alzheimer's or dementia through memory care techniques and patient engagement strategies. Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and medication administration is required; certification preferred but not mandatory if willing to obtain upon hire. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia enhances suitability for this role. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely while ensuring client comfort and safety. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting health changes accurately. Familiarity with care plans, HIPAA compliance, and patient documentation procedures. Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to build trustful relationships with clients and their families.
