A loving family in Jupiter, FL (33478) is seeking a proactive and nurturing Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight support as they welcome their second child, due on October 15th, 2026 . The baby will most likely be born sometime between October 8th
- October 14th, possibly via induction.
Schedule:
10 hours a night (11:15pm
- 9:15am), 5 nights a week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), for 8 weeks
- beginning 2-3 days after birth.
- The caregiver will be home alone with the baby from 8am
- 9am, while mom drops the toddler off at preschool.
The ideal candidate is calm, productive, and a true go-getter with extensive experience caring for newborns. They are confident in supporting the family by tidying the nursery, completing baby laundry, washing and sterilizing bottles and pump parts, preparing tummy time activities, and making breastfeeding-friendly meals and snacks for Mom when appropriate. They are knowledgeable about current AAP safe-sleep recommendations, flexible with gentle sleep training as the baby grows, and committed to helping the family maximize rest while easing the transition from one to two children. Mom prefers privacy while breastfeeding. The family also asks that the nanny remove their shoes inside the home and receive a flu vaccine within two weeks of starting. The family prefers a local caregiver, but is open to traveling if they provide their own accommodations.
Note:
The family has a high energy Blue Heeler dog, that will be crated at night. Must be comfortable with high energy dogs, and not allergic. Must be vaccinated (TDAP, Flu)
Compensation:
$45/hr +
