Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med Tech / Caregiver to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, including memory care. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, assisting with passing medications, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The candidate will work closely with residents, including those with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other conditions requiring specialized care. Duties Provide direct resident care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene. Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in MOR systems. Administer medications as prescribed. Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the management of patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. Engage with patients to provide emotional support and companionship. Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living and memory care is a must. Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices. Knowledge of caregiving techniques specific to senior care, hospice care, and memory care settings. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred.
