Candidates must be patient, professional, and able to work effectively with individuals who may display behavioral challenges. This position focuses on promoting independence, maintaining a safe and clean home environment, and providing quality support and supervision to individuals served. Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must pass Level 2 Background Screening Reliable transportation 1-2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities and behaviors preferred All required APD training courses completed
RESPONSIBILITY
Ability to work assigned shifts consistently Strong communication and teamwork skills APD Medication Administration Certified Assist individuals with daily living skills and independence training Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout the home Prepare meals and assist with cooking Participate in recreational and community activities Provide supervision and behavioral support as needed Some hand-over-hand assistance may be required Complete required documentation and reports Perform additional duties as assigned by management
