Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be the trusted companion and helper for senior clients. Your energetic approach and attentive nature will make a meaningful difference in your client's life, ensuring they receive respectful, high-quality care every day. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Support patients with mobility using transfer methods & patient transfer techniques to ensure safety during movement. Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions to identify any changes or concerns promptly. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs. Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or community activities to promote social engagement and independence. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient progress, medication administration, and incident reports in compliance with healthcare standards. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to support overall health and well-being. Communicate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and ensure consistent support. Qualifications Proven experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic first aid including CPR certification. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information at all times. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client outings or appointments preferred. Compassionate attitude combined with patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to caregiving.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
