Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs and observe health changes to report promptly to healthcare professionals Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support clients with dementia or cognitive disabilities through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences while maintaining a clean kitchen environment Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, client progress, and any incidents or concerns Uphold residents' rights and ensure compliance with safety standards and care regulations in a home or community setting Requirements Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments with a focus on geriatrics or long-term care Knowledge of Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or safe patient lifting practices are highly valued Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while adhering to proper techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments preferred Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Valid driver's license with experience operating standard passenger cars is advantageous but not mandatory Compassionate attitude combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple aspects of personal and home care Join us in providing vital support that enhances the quality of life for those in need.
