The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and possess a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for those they serve. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a nurturing environment. Responsibilities Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Support individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in the community. Perform first aid when necessary and ensure emergency procedures are followed. Collaborate with family members and agency providers to create personalized care plans. Qualifications Previous experience in home care, home health, or caregiving is preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable. Ability to perform first aid and CPR is preferred. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
