Live-In Caregiver Heart To Heart Enterprise Saint Petersburg, FL Job Details Full-time $700 a week 5 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Live-In Caregiver / Direct Support Professional Position Summary/7 days on/7 days off/ We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and responsible Live-In Caregiver to provide support for two adult women who share a home. Both individuals are highly independent and capable of completing many daily activities on their own but require supervision, medication reminders, meal preparation, and assistance with maintaining a safe, structured home environment. The ideal candidate will promote independence while providing encouragement, oversight, and companionship to help ensure the individuals' health, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities Provide daily supervision to ensure a safe and supportive living environment. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary preferences or physician recommendations. Provide timely medication reminders and document completion as required. Assist with light housekeeping, including dishes, laundry, and maintaining common living areas. Encourage and support independence with daily routines and personal responsibilities. Accompany or arrange transportation for medical appointments, community outings, shopping, or recreational activities as needed. Monitor for changes in health, mood, or behavior and report concerns promptly. Maintain accurate daily documentation and communication logs. Respond appropriately in emergency situations following agency policies and procedures. Foster a positive, respectful, and encouraging home atmosphere. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or similar populations preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to pass a Level II background screening and drug screening. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful of individual rights and dignity. Work Environment Live-in position with private living accommodations provided. Supports two independent adult women living together in a residential home. Schedule includes on-site supervision with designated personal time and sleep hours according to agency policy.
