Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on progress, behaviors, and any concerns. Follow established childhood development practices and early childhood education principles to support growth milestones. Administer basic first aid or CPR in emergency situations while adhering to mandated reporting laws when necessary. Manage behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Prior childcare experience in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, or nannying is preferred. Demonstrated teaching experience with young children or youth programs enhances your candidacy. Knowledge of childhood development stages and early childhood education best practices is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration are vital.
