If you are passionate about helping others live independently while making a meaningful impact in their daily lives, we encourage you to apply. As a Direct Care Staff member, you will provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, promote independence, ensure the health and safety of the individuals you support, and maintain a positive, respectful, and caring environment. Responsibilities Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Provide companionship while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. Assist with meal preparation and support nutritional needs. Administer medications according to care plans and company policies. Observe and report changes in health, behavior, or overall condition. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided. Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe home environment. Follow all agency policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and members of the care team. Support individuals with behavioral needs using patience, professionalism, and appropriate intervention techniques. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet the following requirements: Able to pass a Level II Background Screening Have reliable transportation to and from work Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification during the hiring process Experience providing direct care or caregiving services preferred Comfortable working independently in a home setting and supporting individuals with behaviors Preferred Qualifications Experience in home health, group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or similar caregiving settings Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other special needs Knowledge of medication administration and documentation Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility when needed Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently Why Join Supportive Care LLC?
