This role focuses on encouraging independence, providing supervision, and supporting daily routines that increase the client's quality of life, all while building positive and respectful relationships in a safe and supported environment. Responsibilities Assist with daily routines and activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Support individuals in their homes and community by encouraging independence and participating in engaging activities. Assist with meal preparation based on individual dietary needs. Support medication reminders and administration if needed. Assist with light household tasks including cleaning and laundry, to help maintain a safe home environment. Maintain a safe and supportive environment. Provide companionship and supervision. Requirements Previous experience working with APD clients strongly preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Must pass a Level II background screening Must complete all required APD trainings prior to start via Train.org CPR/AED First aid certification Reliable transportation Open availability preferred.
