Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition, documenting changes accurately Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal service, considering dietary restrictions and preferences Provide transportation assistance for appointments, outings, or community activities using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's care by implementing specialized memory care strategies and ensuring resident's rights are respected Skills Previous experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior promptly Knowledge of care plans, medication administration, and patient monitoring procedures Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Ability to assist with ADLs using manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable CPR and First Aid certification to respond effectively in emergencies Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members effectively Join us in creating a caring environment where every individual receives personalized attention and respect.
