Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal consumption while respecting dietary restrictions and preferences Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing personalized care plans and engaging them in meaningful activities Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning resident areas and assisting with laundry Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings, ensuring safety during transfers and personal transportation needs Document observations accurately in care records, communicate effectively with clients and team members, and uphold residents' rights at all times Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Experience providing dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, or neurodevelopmental disorders support is advantageous Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, resident's rights, care plans, and patient transfer methods is essential Hands-on experience with manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts and performing CPR or first aid certifications are required or highly desirable Background working with individuals with disabilities—including developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities—is a strong plus Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining a caring attitude towards clients of all ages—especially seniors—is crucial Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact through caregiving!
