Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking Care Staff for our busy assisted living facility located in Wellington, FL. Applicants must be caring, patient and work well with other team members to provide care and support daily to our residents. Must have valid work documents, Level 2 background screening, free from communicable disease statement from health provider, training certificates and experience with older adults and with ALzheimer's / dementia patients. Responsibilities Assist residents with their varied needs which include personal care, grooming, safe transferring, engaging in activities, assist with meals / feeding. Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff or supervisors. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and infection control procedures. Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings preferred Experience working with individuals diagnosed with mild developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia Strong caregiving skills with an empathetic approach to patient needs Ability to work effectively within a team to deliver care and support. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity This role is vital in delivering compassionate care while supporting the health and well-being of our residents.
