Caregiver Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Caregiver to provide exceptional care for both an elderly individual and children in a private home setting. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, ensure safety, and promote the well-being of everyone in the home. Your dedication will help create a nurturing environment where each individual feels valued, respected, and cared for. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others. Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Provide dementia care, including support for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and memory loss.
  • Safely assist with transfers using equipment such as a Hoyer lift when needed.
  • Monitor health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and communicating concerns to the family or healthcare providers.
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
  • Prepare nutritious meals while following dietary requirements.
  • Engage both seniors and children in meaningful, age-appropriate activities that encourage mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, organization, and maintain a clean and safe home environment.
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and compassionate care. Qualifications
  • Must have previous caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, memory care, or a related caregiving role).
  • Must be bilingual (English & Spanish).
  • Experience caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease is strongly preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are a plus.
  • Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers, including use of a Hoyer lift or willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication, reliability, patience, and compassion.
  • Must be able to lift and assist with caregiving tasks as needed. Schedule
