Duties Assist with activities of daily living (dementia) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure proper patient care Engage children and seniors in stimulating activities that promote mental and emotional well-being Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for individuals with dementia or developmental disabilities such as Alzheimer's disease Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, and basic nursing skills including CPR and first aid certification Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Ability to assist with mobility using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices safely Strong observational skills to monitor patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, healthcare teams, and residents Physical stamina for heavy lifting and supporting active caregiving tasks while maintaining compassion and patience Join us in creating a caring environment where every individual receives personalized attention and support.
