Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior Administer medications and manage care plans in accordance with healthcare regulations and HIPAA privacy standards Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption as needed Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with patient transfers safely and efficiently Maintain detailed documentation of patient observations, care provided, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare protocols Engage in cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards within residents' living spaces and common areas Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to deliver holistic patient care Participate in training sessions on CPR, first aid, assisted living procedures, and specialized care techniques for individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders Qualifications Proven experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, or hospice care environments Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices Certification in CPR and first aid required; additional certifications such as medication administration or dementia care are highly valued Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments preferred Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physical stamina for long shifts required Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing health changes early Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and families Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life Join us in creating a compassionate community where every individual receives the attentive care they deserve!
