Job Summary Dependable Repair Services is looking for a reliable and hands-on Appliance Repair Support Worker to assist with daily appliance service and repair operations. This role supports technicians with inspections, repair preparation, tools and parts handling, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining an organized service environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable performing practical, hands-on work. Responsibilities Assist technicians with appliance inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks. Help identify basic appliance issues and report potential problems to the service team. Prepare tools, equipment, replacement parts, and supplies for service appointments. Assist with removing, replacing, and adjusting appliance components as directed. Support technicians during installation, repair, and maintenance activities. Help test appliances after service work to confirm proper operation. Handle tools, equipment, and appliance parts safely and responsibly. Keep tools, work areas, and service equipment clean and organized. Assist with loading, transporting, and organizing tools and replacement parts. Help maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and completed work. Communicate professionally with customers when assisting during service visits. Monitor commonly used supplies and report inventory needs. Report damaged equipment, unusual appliance conditions, or safety concerns promptly. Follow company procedures, service guidelines, and workplace safety standards. Support technicians in completing service calls efficiently and professionally. Perform other repair support and maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in appliance repair, maintenance, construction, or technical service is preferred but not required. Basic mechanical or technical knowledge is helpful. Comfortable working with hand tools and service equipment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Dependable, punctual, and responsible work habits. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable performing hands-on duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and moving equipment as needed.
