Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Home Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Management Software to ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Communicate effectively via phone and email with clients, families, and medical professionals to confirm appointments and relay important information. Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, service plans, and care updates in compliance with health regulation policies. Support medical administrative tasks such as verifying insurance coverage, processing referrals, and assisting with billing inquiries. Ensure adherence to health regulation policies and maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with privacy laws. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions promptly and professionally while fostering trust and satisfaction. Skills Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment with strong knowledge of medical terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes. Familiarity with Medical Administrative Support functions including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and billing procedures. Experience using Medical Office Software such as EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems for managing patient data efficiently. Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA compliance). Excellent phone communication skills combined with the ability to handle client inquiries professionally. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. Typing speed and accuracy to support efficient data entry and documentation processes. $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
