Our mission is to provide compassionate and professional in-home care tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to support clients in Austell, on a Monday through Friday schedule. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and home health services, with experience working with individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities and health monitoring. Caregiver must be able to lift and tranfer clients Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Must be able to transfer clients, use hoyer lift Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status, reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary. Support clients with medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient privacy. Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility assistance. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or community outings while ensuring client safety at all times. Experience Candidates should have prior experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospice care environments. Experience working with individuals with autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's disease), or developmental disabilities is highly valued. Familiarity with care plans, medication management, patient monitoring, and emergency response procedures such as first aid and CPR is essential. Additional qualifications include experience with patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts, knowledge of HIPAA regulations, and proficiency in supporting residents' personal care needs across diverse settings such as geriatrics or intellectual disabilities support.
