Spanish Speaking Location:
Brookhaven, GA Schedule:
Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM-12:00 PM Additional availability: Sunday availability is a plus

Competitive, based on experience and qualifications About the Position I am seeking a reliable, physically capable, Spanish-speaking Personal Care & Exoskeleton Support Assistant to provide hands-on personal care, mobility assistance, and support with advanced mobility technology. This is a unique position supporting an adult wheelchair user who actively stands and walks using a personal robotic exoskeleton for walking . This is not a typical caregiving position . The role combines personal care, transfers, mobility assistance, physical support, and specialized technology. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, comfortable learning new technology, attentive to safety, and interested in helping support greater mobility and independence. Spanish fluency is required. Significant portions of the training and instruction are conducted in Spanish. Full training will be provided. No prior exoskeleton experience is required. ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care & Mobility Assist with activities of daily living and personal care Assist with dressing, grooming, positioning, and other routine needs Assist with transfers and safe positioning Provide mobility assistance in the home and community Assist with preparation for appointments, training sessions, and daily activities Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment around mobility equipment Exoskeleton Support Assist with preparation and setup for exoskeleton sessions Learn and follow established training and safety procedures Assist with positioning and preparation for exoskeleton use as trained Provide hands-on support before, during, and after walking sessions Walk alongside the client during exoskeleton sessions Assist with positioning, handling, and storage of equipment Follow instructions carefully and communicate clearly during training Become proficient in the procedures necessary to safely support exoskeleton use Ideal Candidate The strongest candidate will be: Fluent in Spanish Physically capable of performing hands-on assistance and transfers Comfortable walking alongside a client during exoskeleton sessions Comfortable working with a tall adult while he is standing and walking Reliable, punctual, and consistent Comfortable following detailed instructions and safety procedures Quick to learn specialized equipment and technology Calm, attentive, and safety-conscious Comfortable providing personal care and hands-on assistance Able to work independently after training Professional, respectful, personable, and dependable Physical Requirements This is a physically active position. The candidate must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job, including: Assisting with transfers and positioning Providing hands-on physical assistance Walking alongside the client during exoskeleton training Standing and remaining physically engaged for extended periods Handling and assisting with mobility equipment Responding appropriately to unexpected situations Performing these responsibilities safely and consistently Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Personal care or caregiving CNA or home health Physical or occupational therapy Rehabilitation Adaptive sports or fitness Athletic training Wheelchair or mobility equipment Assistive technology Robotics or wearable technology Exoskeletons Prior exoskeleton experience or caregiver experience is not required. The ability and willingness to learn are more important. Schedule & Reliability The primary schedule is: Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM-12:00 PM Candidates available Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM-12:00 PM may be considered for additional regular coverage. Consistent attendance and punctuality are extremely important. Occasional schedule adjustments may be necessary for appointments, training sessions, or other activities.
