About Us:

At FirstLight Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra assistance with their activities of daily living. We are there to help them maintain their independence so that they do not have to rely on their family members, friends, or neighbors to provide their care for them. The care we provide ranges from personal care to include assistance with bathing, toileting, mobility, hygiene and eating assistance to companion care which includes conversation and company, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, etc. We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years now and are very passionate about serving our senior population.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver/HHA at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized support to clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with families to ensure their loved ones receive the care they need to enjoy their quality of life. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll experience the rewarding opportunity of making a difference in your community.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients. Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a tidy environment. Remind clients of their medication schedules. Help with mobility and transfers as required. Provide transportation for errands and appointments. Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and dependable nature. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and their families. Ability to work independently in a client's home. Reliable transportation for commuting to clients. Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Brunswick, Georgia.
