Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide support with mobility, including lifting and transferring clients as needed. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Monitor and document client health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Ensure a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality at all times. Provide direct support in assisted living settings or long-term care facilities as required. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or personal care aide roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with CPR techniques is a plus. Experience in assisted living or long-term care environments is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges is essential. A caring attitude and strong communication skills are necessary for building rapport with clients.
