The Stewart House is hiring a part time 1st shift (7a-3p) caregiver to join our awesome WEEKEND team! Applicant must love serving others, work well with a team, and be able to walk the majority of the shift. Applicant will need to pass a drug screen, background check, fingerprinting, and pre-employment physical. Serious applicants only please. CNA license or caregiving experience preferred. Must be able to work every weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for senior clients
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Monitor and record vital signs of clients as needed
• Assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring when necessary
• Provide care for clients with memory care needs
• Engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being
• Drive clients to appointments or outings as required

Skills:

• Proficient in providing personal care and assisting with ADLs
• Knowledge of monitoring vital signs and recognizing changes in health status
• Experience in working with seniors and understanding their unique needs
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges
• Familiarity with memory care techniques and approaches
• Knowledge of home care practices and safety protocols
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage clients in social interactions
