Responsibilities Supervise and engage children across different age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children, ensuring their safety at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction. Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting newborns as needed. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians about daily activities, progress, and any concerns. Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and emotional regulation. Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of abuse or neglect in accordance with legal requirements. Ensure a clean, safe environment by adhering to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR protocols. Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles. Demonstrated experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience planning engaging activities tailored to different developmental stages. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom or activity supervision techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred. Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
