Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced In-Home Caregiver to join our team in Conley,. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, senior assistance, and disability support. This role involves delivering personalized care that promotes safety, comfort, and dignity for clients with diverse needs. The caregiver will play a vital role in supporting daily activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe home environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining proper food safety standards. Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations. Support clients with mobility using proper patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Requirements Proven experience working as an in-home caregiver or in similar settings such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and hospice support. Familiarity with medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, blood pressure monitors, and other patient transfer tools. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in HIPAA compliance is preferred. Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, autism, or developmental disabilities is highly valued. Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans and document observations accurately.
