Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated MALE Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our client in Duluth by offering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a commitment to patient well-being, safety, and dignity. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs as needed Prepare meals and assist with meal planning and cooking Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization Observe and report changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to appropriate personnel Support clients with mobility assistance, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to reduce feelings of isolation Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations Provide direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or autism Assist with patient monitoring and documentation of care provided Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving, home health, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable Familiarity with patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs Understanding of care plans and experience in medication administration is beneficial If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Caregiver.
