As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be a vital part of creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment that promotes independence and dignity for those you serve. Your dedication will help enhance quality of life while fostering trusting relationships with clients and their families. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties, laundry, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or confusion, especially for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Experience Prior experience working in home health, group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings is a plus but not required. Certification in CPR and first aid is required; can be completed within the company at hire. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams are necessary for delivering exceptional care.
