We strongly believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. We are currently looking for experienced DSPs and CNAs to fill the role of Home Manager in the Residential department of our organization. The right candidates will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, while also managing a small team of DSPs in the home. If you have prior experience and compassion for working with the Special Needs population in a direct care role and/or management experience, we encourage you to apply for this position. •Must be able to successfully pass a drug test on site•
Shift Times:
Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm
Qualifications/Skills:
Female candidate for a female group home High school or college diploma required Have a valid Georgia Driver's License 2+ years of experience providing direct care to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities Have a current First Aid & CPR certification or willing to obtain Management Experience Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Compassionate about the care and well-being of others Flexible, motivated, self-directed, and a team player Must be 21 years of age or older MUST able to pass a criminal background check MUST be able to successfully pass a drug test on site Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Duties:
Grocery shopping & Meal Planning Activity Calendar Disaster Drills Ensure home is in compliance with state standards at all time Staff oversight Provide emotional and physical care for adults in home Assist with ADLs, tracking goals, and community outings Transporting clients to/from the
Day Center Salary:
$18.00/hr with a raise at 6 months and at 1 year of employment
