WEEKEND AND PRN DURING THE WEEKDAY

This rewarding role involves providing compassionate, personalized assistance to clients in their own homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a vital part of a caring community committed to enhancing quality of life through attentive and respectful care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs, medication administration, and overall condition, ensuring adherence to care plans and resident's rights. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote healthy living. Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community outings while ensuring client safety during transfers and travel. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies. Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and personalized engagement strategies. Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment that promotes comfort and safety for clients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to update care plans and ensure comprehensive support tailored to each individual's needs. Experience Prior experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to provide patient personal care assistance with compassion and professionalism. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, or developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques including vital signs measurement and medication administration is essential. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in hospice care or dementia/Alzheimer's care is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and respectful handling of sensitive information. Pay:

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 22.0 per week
