Job Description
Job Summary Caregiver will work 3-4 days consecutive. You will not leave the home. Example start Sunday 9am-Wednesday 9am. This is a position that you are active with the client playing games not just putting them in front of TV. •Client stays upstairs in a large room and it is separated by a divider where caregiver has bed and hanger. •Needs to have patience and be able to communicate with client We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support in home. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a strong understanding of the unique needs of clients, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, or dementia. This role involves assisting client with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and comfort, and promoting their overall well-being Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life. Monitor patients' health by observing and reporting changes in condition or behavior. Administer medications as per care plans and ensure compliance with prescribed treatments. cleaning of areas used/occupied light cooking Skills First aid and CPR certification are highly desirable. Experience in group home settings or assisted living facilities is a plus. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status or behavior. Knowledge of home health care practices, including medication administration and vital signs monitoring. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
