Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, assisted living, nursing homes, and community environments. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents through attentive care, safety monitoring, and compassionate interaction. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or those requiring hospice or memory care. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Provide patient observation and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety. Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed. Support residents with cognitive impairments, including Alzheimer's disease and dementia, through specialized memory care techniques. Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely for resident transfers. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping and sanitation tasks. Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and social interaction. Experience Candidates should possess prior experience in caregiving roles within home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's, or dementia is highly valued. Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are preferred. Familiarity with patient monitoring, HIPAA compliance, and long-term care practices is essential. Prior work involving patient observation, assisted living environments, hospice, or memory care will be considered advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate patience, compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary. Experience working with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities, is highly desirable.
