Job Description
Direct Support Staff (DSS) will work directly with people with developmental disabilities with the aim of assisting the Individuals to become integrated into his/her community or the least restrictive environment. The DSS will support Individuals in one or more of the following areas: eating and drinking, toileting, personal grooming and health care, dressing, communication, interpersonal relationships, mobility, home management, and use of leisure time. Supports are individually planned and tailored to meet the specific needs of each Individual. CNA or Personal Care Assistant experience is preferred. Competitive salary High school diploma or GED.
