Home Instead is hiring dependable and compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home care and support to seniors throughout Snellville, Loganville, Between, Monroe, Good Hope and surrounding areas. YOUR ROLE AS A CAREGIVER
Our Caregivers provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors in their homes. Depending on the client's needs and care plan, responsibilities may include: Providing care and companionship for seniors living with Alzheimer's disease and dementia Assisting with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene Helping clients with dressing and grooming Providing incontinence care , including toileting and brief changes Assisting with transfers, mobility, and safe ambulation Helping clients safely get in and out of bed, chairs, and vehicles Preparing meals and snacks according to the client's needs Providing medication reminders Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) Providing transportation to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and other activities Running errands on behalf of clients Performing light housekeeping , including laundry, dishes, changing linens, and keeping the client's living areas clean and organized Encouraging clients to participate in activities and maintain their independence Providing compassionate support and maintaining a safe environment Every client has different needs.
WHAT MAKES A GREAT CAREGIVER?
We're looking for people who are: Compassionate and patient Dependable and trustworthy Comfortable providing hands-on personal care Comfortable working with clients who have Alzheimer's or dementia Comfortable assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care Able to safely assist with transfers and mobility Reliable and committed to their scheduled shifts Comfortable communicating with clients, families, and the Home Instead team Willing to travel to client assignments within their agreed-upon service area
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle Valid auto insurance Ability to pass a background check Ability to pass a DMV check Ability to pass a drug screen Must meet applicable State of Georgia requirements Ability to provide dependable transportation to client assignments Willingness to travel within the agreed-upon service area
