WEEKEND CAREGIVER NIGHT SHIFT
Overview Join our compassionate team as an overnight weekend caregiver, where your dedication and caring nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support during weekends. This energetic role offers an opportunity to provide personalized care, promote independence, and foster a safe, nurturing environment for residents with diverse needs. We are looking to fill a weekend caregiver shift for night time. Shifts are 12 hours, every Saturday and Sunday. Night shift weekend weekly schedule will consist of Saturday and Sunday 8 pm - 8 am, totaling 24 hours a week. Our facility currently houses 10 residents with a maximum of 15. Duties Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately to ensure proper care plans are followed. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist residents with meal consumption. Support medication administration in accordance with HIPAA regulations and care plans, ensuring safety and compliance at all times. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are upheld. Experience Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care is preferred. Experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings enhances your ability to deliver exceptional patient care. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care is beneficial. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques including vital signs measurement and patient observation is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required for this position. All training will be provided if you do not already have it. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility ensuring resident safety at all times.
