Elderly Caregiver Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Caregiver to provide high-quality personal and home care for seniors. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, ensure safety, and promote well-being for elderly clients. This role requires a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to support individuals with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or in need of geriatrics-focused care. The caregiver will be responsible for helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life in a home setting. Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Provide senior care tailored to individual needs, ensuring safety and comfort during daily routines. Support clients with light household duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a clean and safe environment. Transport clients to and from doctor appointments, therapy sessions, or social events as needed. Operate specialized lifts such as lift and stand-up lift safely, following proper procedures. Administer basic first aid and CPR in case of emergencies, maintaining certification at all times. Work with individuals who have disabilities or require specialized geriatrics care, adapting support accordingly. Monitor health status and communicate any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals promptly. Experience Minimum of one year experience working with elderly individuals in a caregiving capacity. Proven experience providing personal care assistance in a home or healthcare setting. Certified as an active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) with current CPR certification. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Training or familiarity in operating lifts such as lift and stand-up lift is required. Pay:
