You will assist with daily living activities, ensure a safe and comfortable environment, and foster a sense of community and belonging among residents. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Personal Care Assistance:

Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Health Monitoring:

Observe residents' physical and mental conditions, report changes to the clinical team, and document care provided.

Companionship:

Engage residents in meaningful conversations and activities, promoting socialization and emotional well-being.

Housekeeping:

Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as making beds, tidying rooms, and ensuring cleanliness of resident areas.

Meal Assistance:

Support residents during mealtimes, including feeding assistance when necessary, and monitor dietary restrictions and preferences.

Emergency Response:

Act swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure resident safety.

Documentation:

Accurately record resident care activities and observations in electronic medical records (EMR) or other required documentation systems.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with management, nursing staff, and other care providers to ensure holistic and continuous care for residents.

Additional Duties:

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Director of Clinical Services to ensure the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems. Understanding of state and federal regulations for assisted living.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and engage in physical activity for extended periods. Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations.
