This is a unique opportunity for someone looking for a small, consistent evening schedule with the potential to pick up additional hours as they become available. Our immediate need is for a recurring 9:00 PM-11:00 PM visit once per week with an established client in a private apartment in Bettendorf. The scheduled evening rotates weekly between Wednesday and Sunday. Because this is a short, later-evening assignment, we are offering an enhanced rate of $20 per hour for this position. This may be an especially good fit for someone who already works elsewhere and would like a few additional hours each week, works PRN, or simply prefers a smaller schedule. As Cypress Home Care continues to grow, additional client hours and fill-in opportunities are expected to become available.

Current Schedule:

One consistent evening visit per week, 9:00 PM•11:00 PM, with the scheduled day rotating between Sunday and Wednesday.

Expected hours:

2-6 hours per week, depending on availability and additional opportunities. What you'll be helping with : Our client requires hands-on assistance with her evening routine.

Duties include:

Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living Independent operation of an electric Hoyer lift for transfers Routine urinary catheter care, including changing between day and overnight drainage bags Brief/incontinence care Positioning and assistance getting comfortably settled for the night Other non-medical caregiving tasks as needed Completing required visit documentation Because transfers are an essential part of this assignment, applicants must be comfortable and competent operating a Hoyer lift independently after orientation to the client's routine. We're looking for someone who is: Dependable and committed to arriving for scheduled visits Experienced with hands-on personal care Experienced and comfortable with Hoyer lift transfers Comfortable providing routine catheter-related personal care Compassionate, patient, respectful and professional Comfortable working independently in a client's home Able to communicate promptly and reliably with our office Interested in becoming part of a growing local home care company CNA certification is welcomed, but we are also happy to consider experienced caregivers whose background is a strong fit for the assignment.

Additional PRN/fill-in shifts also available based on client needs and caregiver availability, along with opportunities for placement with new clients as our schedule grows.
