Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Aide to join our team at our specialized memory care facility. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents with memory impairments, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The Healthcare Aide plays a vital part in creating a respectful and nurturing environment, assisting residents with daily activities and fostering positive interactions. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of residents with memory impairments. Monitor residents' health status by observing changes in behavior or physical condition and reporting concerns to nursing staff. Support residents during meals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration. Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety procedures. Document care provided accurately and consistently in accordance with facility policies. Foster positive relationships through compassionate communication, patience, and understanding. Experience Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not necessary. Additional training will be provided. Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and safety procedures related to elderly or vulnerable populations is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with residents and team members. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks with patience and professionalism.
Pay:
$13.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 40.0 per week
