As a Client Services Representative (DSP)•Caregiver , you will learn the skills and coaching techniques to help other adults shape their lives into a picture they once only dreamed of in one of our newest locations, Clarinda, Iowa. The Client Services Representative (DSP)•Caregiver , is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall care for those who reside in the AmeriServe International Residential Day Program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide transportation to and from activities. Assist in the implementation of individual plans for individuals and behavior plan goals. Assist individuals in the pursuit of recreational, social and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans. Assist and encourage individuals in the establishment of social networks. Promote participation and involvement in community outings. Ensure each individual's rights are protected. Treat individuals with dignity and respect. Observe individuals for changes in behavior or health. Assist and encourage individuals to care for their immediate personal needs, such as toileting, washing their hands, and eating. Prepare meals based on individual needs and preferences. Teach individuals daily skills such as household chores, laundry, cleaning, and washing dishes as appropriate according to their individual plan. Be a part of our team!
