Job Description

Part Time Universal Caregiver Birkwood Village Assisted Living & Memory Care -

Fort Madison, IA Pay:

$15.00 - $18.25/hour, depending on experience, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential for 3rd shift Birkwood Village is hiring a Universal Caregiver for our assisted living/memory care team. If you're dependable, compassionate, and looking for a position in a close-knit senior living community, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transfers) Administer medications per care plans and state guidelines Complete light housekeeping duties Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and leadership Respond promptly and calmly to resident needs throughout the shift

Requirements:

CNA and/or AL Medication Tech certification preferred, but not required Prior caregiving experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and a genuine passion for working with older adults
