Residential Assisted Living (IDAPA 16.03.22 compliant) About Us We are a resident‑centered Assisted Living community committed to providing compassionate care, dignity, and a warm home‑like environment. Our caregivers play a vital role in supporting residents with daily needs and ensuring safety, comfort, and quality of life. Position Summary Caregivers provide hands‑on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), medication assistance (if certified), documentation, and supportive services. This position requires reliability, professionalism, and a genuine desire to serve older adults. Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Provide meal assistance, hydration monitoring, and nutritional support Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional support Assist with medications (if certified per Idaho regulations) Document care accurately and follow individualized service plans Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas Support laundry, linens, and basic housekeeping tasks Respond to resident emergencies and follow facility safety procedures Communicate effectively with staff and leadership Uphold resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality Minimum Requirements Must be 18 years or older (Idaho requirement for direct care staff) Ability to pass Idaho criminal history and background check Current CPR and First Aid certification or willing to take training provided by Sunset Home Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and assist with transfers Reliable attendance and professional conduct Preferred Qualifications Experience in assisted living, home care, or healthcare CNA certification (not required) (Sunset Home will pay the tuitiion fee for a 1 year commitment after qualification) Dementia or memory‑care experience Medication assistance certification Shifts Available We are in need for all shifts. $17.10 - $20.34 per hour
