Job Description
Job Summary We are urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to clients in the Culdesac, Craigmont, and Cottonwood areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home health, senior care, or assisted living environments, with a genuine passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver personalized assistance, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for each client through attentive care and professional support. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, if needed. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals promptly. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and cooking. Support clients with mobility using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques. Reminders for medications, accurately following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing living spaces. Assist with transportation for medical appointments or community outings, ensuring safe and reliable client mobility. Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and dementia or Alzheimer's care procedures to ensure client safety at all times. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health settings is highly desirable, but not required. Demonstrated ability to observe patient conditions and document findings accurately. Knowledge of care plans development and medication administration protocols is essential. Familiarity with patient monitoring devices such as vital signs monitors is advantageous. Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts or other manual handling techniques is helpful.
