This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. As a caregiver, you will play a vital part in promoting independence, ensuring safety, and enhancing quality of life through attentive, personalized care. This paid position is perfect for energetic individuals eager to bring positivity and professionalism to their caregiving duties. Responsibilities Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status, documenting findings accurately Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices, ensuring safety during transfers Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Engage residents in social activities or companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs of distress or health deterioration Certification in CPR and First Aid; experience with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or memory care preferred Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts when necessary Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and team members Join us as a Weekend/Evening Caregiver and be part of a passionate team committed to providing high-quality, respectful care that truly makes a difference.
