Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med Tech/Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. In this vital role, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and support residents' well-being in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care, promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. Duties Assist residents with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document medical records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care routines Perform basic medical procedures including tube feeding, catheter care, and wound management under supervision or as trained Ensure safety during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks; follow proper techniques to prevent injury for both residents and staff Maintain compliance with state healthcare regulations and facility policies; participate in ongoing training on CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures Experience Prior assisted living or senior care experience preferred; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in hospice care is a plus Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and geriatric patient needs Experience operating EMR/EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems such as Cerner or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation Familiarity with medication administration protocols and resident personal care assistance techniques Proven ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members in a caring and professional manner Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information Hands-on experience in home & community care settings or acute care environments is highly valued Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to enriching lives through compassionate caregiving. Pay:
From $14.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
