Job Description

Company Overview Developmental Options is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive care and services to individuals with developmental delays. Our mission is to empower those we serve by fostering independence and enhancing their quality of life. Summary As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional at Developmental Options, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities within the ICF/IDD program. This position involves creating and implementing individualized care plans that promote personal growth and well-being, ensuring that each client receives the highest standard of care. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to coordinate services effectively. Provide training and support to staff on best practices in patient care. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field. Strong understanding of patient care principles and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Experience in developing care plans is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. CPR/First aid certification is a plus. Pay:
$48,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
