Caregiver (Full‑Time) - Independent, Skilled, Reliable Synergy HomeCare of Barrington is seeking a self‑motivated, highly skilled, and dependable caregiver to join our fast‑paced care team. This position requires strong clinical awareness, excellent time‑management, and the ability to work independently while supporting clients with a wide range of needs.
Position:
Full‑Time Caregiver (40 Hours)
Schedule Requirements:
Must work every other weekend On‑call availability required from 8:00 AM-8:00 PM Position begins hourly and will progress to salary based on performance and reliability Responsibilities Provide hands‑on care to clients ranging from companionship to complex cases Safely operate Hoyer lifts, sit‑to‑stand devices, and other mechanical equipment Assist with personal care, mobility, safety monitoring, and daily living activities Adapt to changing client needs in a fast‑paced environment Maintain timely and professional communication with the office Uphold client dignity, safety, and comfort at all times Requirements Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Strong time‑management and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience with mechanical lifts and complex‑care clients preferred Professional, dependable, and calm under pressure Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities What We Offer Stable full‑time schedule (40 hours) Opportunity to transition from hourly to salary Supportive leadership and a professional care environment Meaningful work with clients who rely on high‑quality care
